October 2019

Now its Bryan's birthday! I got him two really cool gifts because the Etsy shop messed up and had to send another.  It was a wooden American flag that conceals weapons with a magnet.
 Eating pumpkin pie.

Kate was chosen for the Super Star in the month of October for respect and courtesy.  I was able to eat lunch with her and see her shine.
 The floors are coming along!
We visited Hamilton Pool Reserve. It's a natural spring near Austin.
Bryan doing yoga in Llano, Texas.

Over Columbus day weekend, we went camping at Inks Lake State Park.  I had several ideas of things to do in the area: the devils hole, Enchanted Rock, and the fall festival in Marble Falls.  I didn't know we had to reserve a hiking time to enter Enchanted Rock State Park.  In order to reserve a spot, we needed to have cell phone service.  We ended up driving about 30 minutes away to a little town called Llano to claim our spot to hike the silly thing.  I hate how you have to do this now.  It makes spontaneous planning not enjoyable.  Either way, pretty cool view from on top and the girls actually didn't mind the hike!
We went to the fall festival at Strawberry Farm in Marble Falls.  So cute, but way over priced.  They have a corn maze, hay ride, goats to feed, lots of pumpkins to choose from, face painting, pumpkin painting, pony rides, and barrel rides.  The girls enjoyed themselves.

The girls also go to attend their school's fall festival.  They enjoyed the petting zoo area and seeing friends.

Their school put on a space night, which was really fun for them.  They got to shoot rockets and climb through a black hole and touch space rocks.
Getting ready for Halloween.  I love this picture of both girls.
Carving out pumpkins on Halloween because otherwise they rot too quickly.
