June 2025
Kate went to her first Young Women's camp the week after school let out for the summer. They spent 3 nights at Camp Mokuleia. One of the funniest things she mentioned was falling asleep in her camping chair because one of her friends in the tent was snoring. She left the tent in anger and sat in the camping chair in frustration- and then woke up with the sun.
Wendy and I our Primary girl group to see a play at the Paliku Theatre at the Windward Community College: Legends of Olympus
We finally saw the live action Lilo and Stitch with friends! Jane is obsessed!
I went to see the musical Six with my book club friends: Juanita, Wendy, Khinna, Ali, and Leslie.
I love it so much and scored free tickets- so I took Kate with me.
Hannah and Ashley visiting for the week. They flew over to go with Kate and Jane to Camp Erdman over on North Shore. Kate and Hannah shared a cabin. Jane and Ashley shared a cabin. They were able to hang out as a group throughout the week. We feel so grateful they were able to make fun memories with their cousins.
After picking up the cousins on the last day, we showed how we jump the rock at Waimea Bay Beach Park. This is my favorite place.
Riding the train at the Dole Plantation.
Visiting Byodo-In Temple in Kaneohe.
Watching the fish eat was so entertaining on the temple grounds.
Finally making Spam musubi!
Ward Camp
Our tent did not work with the wind, so we slept in the car and/or truck. We only spent one night at Bellows but wished we had planned for more. I was able to watch the sun rise in the morning. I have such a great love for this beach and these views.
Playing in the waves with the ward.

July 2021 Part 1 -Colorado Springs & Grand Tetons
We had fun at the Belton parade on the 4th of July. Afterwards, we went to one of my co-workers house for the evening and watched the fireworks over Lake Belton. Technically I was still on crutches until the 9th, gradually adding weight. This worked out well as we were headed into a month long vacation touring national parks on that day!
We stayed at an RV park with fun games and a waterpark. The girls enjoyed riding their bikes around and jumping on the big trampoline.
My best friend Jennifer said I wouldn't be able to hike Manitou Incline. I had to prove her wrong. My girls beat me to the top, but I did make it! I had some hiking sticks and used my left leg more to lift me up the 2,700 steps. I am about 4 weeks post surgery, 3 of those weeks on crutches. I was pretty damn proud of myself.
Our reward: a macaroni and cheese pizza!
Our little home for the next 3 weeks. My parents pop-up trailer. Lots of card playing and telling the other side to quit moving at bedtime.
We found some fun little hike an hour or so away from Colorado Springs where Bryan jumped into the freezing water!
Next stop: Grand Tetons
We did a lot of paddle boarding on the lakes and hiking.
We got to watch some show in the streets put on during the weekends at Jackson. It was fun to watch and unexpected. Our timing was just right!
We did a little scenic raft down the Snake River. We saw moose, eagles, and osprey.
Found Mormon Row for great pictures of the mountain range.
Our camper at the Tetons.

June 2020
Finally!
We were able to leave the area.
I took the girls to Galveston for a little fun with my friend Jennifer.
We played at the pool...
...took selfies...
...swam in the ocean...
...built sand castles in the sand...
...and put on a dance recital.
All while Bryan built a shed in the backyard because the Army's travel restrictions.

July 2019
We've had lots of fun this summer.
My girls are being watched by a friend of mine 3 times a week while I am at work. They have made slime, play dough, played in the sprinklers and at the local playgrounds, and worked on homework/reading. She has been fabulous. In fact, my kids sometimes ask if I can go to work on my days off just to be with the Webb family.
We've checked out some of the splash pads and water parks in the area.
My girls made a little bit of cash from their lemonade stand. They put some of their earnings away and spent the other on candy.
We went to the Dallas Zoo.
We watched the fireworks on the 4th of July in Temple, TX.
Kate and Jane ran in the Harker Heights 1 mile Mug Run Series. Both girls were not wearing proper shoe wear.
Dress up has been a daily must.
