July 2019
We've had lots of fun this summer.
My girls are being watched by a friend of mine 3 times a week while I am at work. They have made slime, play dough, played in the sprinklers and at the local playgrounds, and worked on homework/reading. She has been fabulous. In fact, my kids sometimes ask if I can go to work on my days off just to be with the Webb family.
We've checked out some of the splash pads and water parks in the area.
My girls made a little bit of cash from their lemonade stand. They put some of their earnings away and spent the other on candy.
We went to the Dallas Zoo.
We watched the fireworks on the 4th of July in Temple, TX.
Kate and Jane ran in the Harker Heights 1 mile Mug Run Series. Both girls were not wearing proper shoe wear.
Dress up has been a daily must.

Jane is 4 years old!
Our sweet little girl turned fours years old. We love her so much. She has the cutest little personality and gets away with pretty much anything. Her coloring is on cue. She loves to use multi-colors and puts the colors in little blocks or patches. She is a terrible sleeper. Probably gets up 2-3 times every night. She is very disoriented when she's up, but somehow manages to make it to our room every single night. She loves to play mommy and child and mommy and kitty with Kate. She loves the show Wild Kratts and the movie Transylvania 3. She just moved up to level 3 in swim lessons. She is very good on the balance bike, but scared to move on to the pedal bike. Her feelings get hurt pretty easily and she will run away and hide. She is the best snuggler. She is a joy in our lives and we love her just the way she is.
She woke up so happy. Kate made her a birthday crown.
She had to go get shots, but was pretty happy about donuts and ice cream afterwards.
We decorated the house and made a cupcake birthday cake.
Jane couldn't wait for dad to come home from work so she could open up her birthday presents. She got a jewelry box with a key, kinetic sand, doctor toys, and princess necklaces.
She requested to have a birthday party at Chuck-E-Cheese just like Kate. So that is what we did. She loved having the spotlight aimed at her this go around.
Dance party!
Happy Birthday Jane!
Her cute friend from daycare, Adoralyn, came to celebrate. Jane loves her so much. She actually calls her "A-zow-za-zee". It is the cutest.
Her friends got her hatchamals, shimmer & shine blocks, Rapunzel doorable, a beach bag with sunglasses, a toy kitten, and an Elsa outfit. She loved everything.

Florida Keys 2019
On our way to the sand bar.
First time snorkling for the girls. We saw lobster!
Sun bathing on the boat's deck.
We both went scuba diving on different days. The visibility was poor both days due to the storm coming through the Gulf of Mexico. I would not recommend the scuba diving company we went through. We didn't even have a guide. They just drop you off and tell you to head a certain direction or not go deeper than a certain amount. We definitely don't dive enough to feel comfortable on our own. At least, that's how I felt.
One of the man made beaches. Our girls mostly enjoyed the swimming pool at our hotel. I agree. It was pretty nice. But this picture makes the beaches look fabulous, doesn't it?
Kate wanted to get a key lime pie in the face from Kermit. Great store. Great owner.
We watched the sun set one evening in downtown Key West. Loving Jane's face in this one.
We went to an alligator farm in the Everglades.
My girls were not fearful when it came to holding snakes and alligators.
We also took an air boat tour through the Everglades.
My girls were asked to pull a snake out of a bag. I don't think I'd have the guts to do that!

June 2019
My friend Jennifer came to visit. We took her to a BBQ joint and watched the Spazmatics perform.
We took off a week of work in June to spend some time with my immediate family at Lake Powell. Our family took a 4 day stop in Santa Fe, New Mexico camping in the mountains. It was a little chillier than I expected, but we had a great time.
We hiked Bandelier National Monument.
Went to Meow Wolff Museum.
Watched movies and ate s'mores.
Hiked Tent Rocks National Monument.
And then made our way to Lake Powell.
This family reunion was long over due. I am not quite sure when the last time we were all together (although two grandchildren are missing).
We hike the Lower Antelope Canyon one day.
My kids just wanted to play in the sand.
We played at the lake.
We water skied.
We sun bathed.
We hiked to Horseshoe Bend.
I love these people.
It was a great time.
