Finally!

We were able to leave the area.  

I took the girls to Galveston for a little fun with my friend Jennifer.

We played at the pool...

...took selfies...

...swam in the ocean...

...built sand castles in the sand...  

...and put on a dance recital.

All while Bryan built a shed in the backyard because the Army's travel restrictions.  

 

August 2019

I guess I missed the end of August as well... 

 We prepared for the new school year by deciding on what activity we should participate in all school year long: Ballet.  The girls were excited to wear tights and buy fancy shoes and tutus.  

 Bryan and I competed in a quarter triathlon in Austin. Jack's Generic Triathlon

 And the first day of school.  Both girls wearing new shoes and dresses, with matching Jasmine backpacks and lunch pails.  Jane's pre-kindergarten teacher is Mrs. Wolf. Kate's first grade teach is Ms. Bay.
