Utah for 10 weeks

My time in Utah is shortly coming to a close.  I am dreading flying with my children to Paris and then on to Munich.  They were so well behaved coming to Utah, it's bound to be awful.  It's a good thing Bryan will be there to pick us up and help us adapt to the change.  I really enjoyed my time away from Germany.  I don't know if I will ever get an opportunity to be so close to family for a long period of time and I really enjoyed it.  Here is a list of all the things we were able to accomplish and do while we were in Utah.

 1) Visit the aquarium
2) Play with cousins
3) SLC children's museum
 4) Watch Kristi bobsled
5) Watch Brandon push for Kristi

 6) Visit with old friends
7) Lehi children's museum
8) Dinosaur museum

 9) Tour the Provo City Temple
10) See the Norman Rockwell Exhibit at BYU
11) Scoring 180 bowling at BYU
 12) Visits with grandma
13) Flying to Phoenix, AZ to visit brother and family
14) Seeing our BFF's (Kuderka clan) at the Phoenix children's museum and sharing Sonic drinks/milkshakes
15) Hiking with cousins
16) Snowshoeing with my dad
 17) Water tubing with family
 18) Multiple visits to large stores
19) Playing dress-up with cousins
20) Running a half marathon indoor (47.7 laps around the Utah Oval)
21) Skiing

Halloween 2015

Halloween was a lot of fun this year.  Having kids really does make the holidays more exciting.  Kate has grown very fond of the movie Frozen since Grandma Koplin visited and bought her Frozen everything.  I thought it would be fun to dress up as the Frozen characters and then have the costumes for dress-up throughout the rest of the year.

These hats were the best purchase.  They kept our little kids warm while we went out trick-or-treating and are super cute!
The military base put on a little fall festival with professional pictures, games, and food.  Kate got to hang out with her bestie, Colton, one more time before they moved back to the states.  Sad, sad day. We went over to our friends, the Moore family, for soup and trick-or-treating.  Our kids lasted about 15 minutes in the cold.  On the plus side, that meant less candy!

Sesame Street

The USO sponsored Sesame Street to visit all the European Army bases.  Kate has just started getting into characters from movies and shows.  Her favorite character is Abby Cadabby, which wasn't part of the show.  She did, however, think the character Katie was Abby Caddaby and was content with that.  Kate was super cute and dancing to the music.  All her friends sat around her doing the same routine.  They loved it.

PlayMobile

Such a fun little park about 45 minutes from our house.  I wish I had known about it during the winter with the indoor facility.  We went with our favorites- Colton, Chase and Kelli.  Kate talks about them non stop when we are apart.  The park is life size renditions of the PlayMobile toys.  Kate enjoyed the pirate ship, the farmhouse, and the castle.

My sweet Kate wanted to get all the way naked...haha.  This was a good picture capture!
