I have been working on the Maternal Child Health Unit of my hospital for way to long! I started back in May 2008 and my last official working day was Febuary 11, 2010. Almost 2 years! I couldn't be more happy to be out of there. I started working on the ICU today. I can't believe how much stuff I have "forgotten" over the years. You really do lose your skills if you don't practice them often. I am excited to be in a new learning environment. I definately need the experience if I want to continue in my education.

Yea!! Finally doing what you want! I am so proud of you Rebekah...you are quite a women. Enjoy your new job and keep up the good work!
James was looking at these pictures with me and he said "Hey, I remember him."

B was referring to the pictures of Bryan in case you were confused at what he meant :)
I'm glad you are in the ICU. I bet that is intense...but good. Dealing with adults as opposed to babies has its benefits too, I'm sure. Like your patient can actually thank you and smile. haha. Whereas babies just cry--or snuggle you--which is their way of smiling and saying thank you, I suppose.
Anyway, congrats :) I'm proud of you, Bek.
